Computing and Other Services at the Jaffa Orchard
You will find our computers upstairs above the coffee shop and at the back of the gift shop. Two computers are available for the use of customers, with a third computer in the downstairs lobby donated by Bedford Borough Council.
If you have a CV , or an important document to write, or if your children need to print out their homework, or want to browse the 'Net for references or pictures, then come along and use our computers.
You will be able to send and receive e-mails at our computers if you have a web based e-mail account. If you would like to set one up, our staff will show you how.
Our High-Speed 512K Cable Broad band link is available throughout the day and you can browse the web and download what you need speedily and without having to dial up. Our computers are running on Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional and have Microsoft Office software available for your use.
If you would like to learn more about using computers then help is usually at hand, or you can sign up for a training session. Taster sessions, or full courses are available.
Please note that the computers are available for the use of adults and accompanied children only. We have an internet filter in place and access to certain sites may be blocked.
